Questions & Answers
General

Q:
Do you have phone support?
A: Yes. You may call between 10AM and 6PM EST and we will do our best to assist you with any of our services.

Q: Do you have an affiliate program?
A: Yes. Signing up an affiliate using one of the links or banners in our affiliate section will earn you a 5-10% commission.

Q: Which PPC Services do you use?
A: For a complete list of the PPC Partners in our program, please contact us.

Q: Are statistics displayed real-time?
A: The stats are updated as close to real-time as possible. However, each partner gives out statistics at different times, ranging from hourly to weekly. We pass them to your account within minutes of receiving them.

Q: Are you planning to add more PPC Partners?
A: Yes.

Q: What payout rate per click do you get from your PPC Partners?
A: While we are unable to disclose the individual contracts with our partners, we can tell you that we have negotiated the highest possible payout with each partner. Even after our administration fee, many will be making more money through us than they would by going direct.

Q: The Portfolio Dashboard is showing Unknowns, am I losing money because of this?
A: If you set your nameservers to point to us and they are resolving you are making money. The dashboard is an informational too for you and updates semi-daily.

Q: Why are my views so much lower than at other PPC providers?
A: This can be for several reasons:

  • Different PPC Partners count visits differently, some only count US traffic, some only count uniques, some count everything
  • PPC Partners sometimes do not accept traffic for a specific domain; especially if they are TM or Adult. However, sometimes they do not give any reason. This will only effect your names during the optimization process and will rectify itself after the initial 30 day process.
  • Stats from some PPC Partners may be delayed for between 4 and 7 days. Views and revenue for a specific day could increase 4 to 7 days later

Q: What does client[...]prohibited (etc.) mean?
A: Each registrar has a different term for the different status of a domain name. client[...]prohibited is just one way of saying that your domain name is locked and secure within your registrar. This does not affect your domain's performance with our service.

Optimization

Q: How long does it take for a domain to optimize?
A: It normally takes 1 month to completely optimize a domain name. However, it may take longer if a domain does not receive any clicks.

Q: Can I manually select which ppc partner my domains pointed to?
A: No. Doing so would be counter-productive given the nature of our service.

Q: Can I see which PPC partner my domain names are pointing?
A: No.

Q: My domains are already parked with another service, do I have to remove them?
A: Yes and No. Not deleting domains from accounts with those partners will have the following effects:

  1. Stats from those partners will not be gathered by iMonetize
  2. The domain will not optimize properly
  3. Those PPC partners will NEVER get any traffic after optimization
  4. You would not be taking advantage of our higher negotiated contracts with the PPC partners
  5. The data collected would be skewed and not as accurate at making you the most money

Q: Why should I optimize my domains?
A: While you may be making money with one PPC partner, you could be making more with another.

Q: Why couldn't I optimize them myself?
A: It is nearly impossible to manually point and track statistics for each domain. And to do so on a daily basis would be an extraordinary feat.

Q: How do I begin the optimization process?
A: Once a domain is added to our database, the optimization process automatically begins. You may also manually select to re-optimize a domain if you so choose.

Q: Will I gain or lose revenue during the optimization process?
A: Our experience with optimization has shown that while our domains were optimizing, the least-profitable and most-profitable services tended to average to roughly the same revenue we had received before optimization began.

Q: What about after the optimization process?
A: 90% of the time you should notice a definite gain in revenue for your domain names once the optimization process is complete.

Q: Why does it matter where my domains are pointing on a particular day? Wouldn't it all be the same?
A: No. Due to variations in advertiser payment habits, certain key-terms will pay more on certain days of the week. Like most aspects of this process, it would be nearly impossible to track and manage this without our exclusive technology.

Account Verification

Q: What do I do with the verification letter when it arrives?
A: You may enter the verification number in your account settings. Instruction are also present on the letter itself.

Q: I would suggest you try to streamline your procedures as other parking services are a lot easier to deal with than this.
A: These measures are put into place to help avoid fraudsters, this industry's cancer. Provided you get us the information in a timely manner it should not delay your payments in any way. Ala we keep the fraudsters out we can concentrate on making you more money. This process helps contribute to why we provide the highest payouts compared to other PPC providers.

Q: I received a pop up message about a letter mailed to my address. What is this letter and is it necessary to get started?
A: No you can start right away. The confirmation letter is just to verify your mailing address and help combat fraud.

Tax Information

Q: Why do you need my tax info. Wouldn't a statement informing that you do not withhold taxes and that they are the sole responsibility of the client be enough?
A: The tax information we request is required for our own accounting and tax procedure.

Q: Where can I find instruction on where to send my tax information?
A: On the Tax Form Information Page

Q: Does the W9 tax form need to be approved before I can park? before I can be paid? what?
A: You must have a valid address on file and a valid Tax Form or Non-US Verification Letter on file before we issue payment. You can start parking your names before we receive these. However, you must get them taken care of ASAP so you get paid timely.
